Tourism has a strong potential to support the local economy, but if there is no adequate management it can negatively influence the preservation of the heritage on which its activity is based, as well as on the visitor's own experience, and therefore, on the viability of the destination and its companies. Protected natural spaces are places that are especially sensitive to frequent tourism that have become the first-order tourist destinations.
